In memory of John Stadnicki
I worked at the SGS collage in Stroud-England from 2017-2022 with John Stadnicki photographer, Simon Packard Fine Art and Jake Pond who is a multi disciplinary artist. I was officially modelling for the photography and fine art department but I did improvised performances and teaching too. That little period of my life was one of the craziest, most incredible experience as an artist. What we did it was beyond Marina Abramovich or Bauhaus movement. To work with these extraordinary people taught me so much about being an art educator, model and performer. It was truly an honour to be in their presence. I wasn't only treasured as a human being but brought the utter madness out of my personality. I was thriving.... Until John died in 2022 just few day before the new school year started.
That experience inspired to be born: CoolCuts ( cool classes under the trees) , what was an independent art school after the first lockdown in 2020. The classes were held outside at the Selsley common and by the River Frome . Anyone was welcome. They could draw, take pictures chat around but most importantly , have a human experience. Connection.
